Plaxico has a case of the Mondays...

It was reported on ESPN that "Super Bowl star Plaxico Burress was suspended for one game by the New York Giants for suspended for failure to appear, not returning calls, a violation of team rules. The suspension takes effect immediately, meaning Burress will miss the Giants' game against the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 5. Burress will lose two paychecks under the suspension. He will not be with the team during the bye week, and won't be allowed to practice with the team next week."

Plaxico and his agent Drew Rosenhaus are going to appeal the team's decision in hopes that he will be able to play the next game.

Boo Hoo. Every body's got to go to work. If we don't show up to work then we get in trouble. Plaxico's base salary under the new contract is $2 million. Unfortunately for him this suspension will cost a whopping $235,294. YIKES!!!
