Bishops get a slow start!

What a heart beaker! The Bishops of NC Wesleyan couldn't do enough to avoid it's first loss of the season to the Tigers of Hampden-Sydney. It was obvious early on that both teams may have been a little too excited to start their season as they combined for a total of 11 turnovers.

Since NC Wesleyan is the defending USA South Conference Champs, they will be tested this year under new head coach, Mark Henninger. This was just one loss for the Bishops this season and luckily it wasn't a conference game. The Bishops know they have a lot to work on as they continue this season.

This puts NC Wesleyan's record to 0-1 for the 2008 season.
