It's been a long time since people got excited in Carolina. With last years loss of Jake Delhomme at QB there was since of lost identity behind the ball. Jake proved he's back and in prime condition.Even without star wide receiver, Steve Smith who was suspended 2 regular season games for punching a team mate, Carolina proved they have more offensive weapons this year. It turned out to be a nail bitter as Carolina came from behind in the final seconds of the game to win 26-24 as time expired on the clock.
This puts Carolina's record to 1-0 for the 2008 season.
