Panthers Tomahawk Chop Chiefs

The Carolina Panthers recorded their largest win in franchise history passing their 1996 win over Tampa Bay 24-0. This came compliments of Offensive MVP, RB DeAngelo Williams who scorched the grass with three touchdowns and 123 yards. This is Williams fourth career 100-yard game and lucky for the Panthers, they are 7-0 all-time when Williams gets 80 rushing yards.

Steve Smith had a beautiful 38 yard reception with 12:27 left in the second quarter which was his first reception of the game. This set the momentum for the game and in the second quarter, Smith had back to back 15 yard catches in the second quarter.

Traded by Miami to Carolina in exchange for an undisclosed draft choice, Josh McCown came in the game to relieve Jake Delhomme who finished the day going 14/22 with a total of 236 yards and 2 TD passes.
